Cookie Notice
This notice explains the limited cookies and browser storage used by Local Initiative and by connected services when you choose to use them.
1. Essential browser storage
Local Initiative uses browser storage needed for core app functions such as authentication, security and keeping you signed in. Authentication information is stored in browser storage rather than in a first-party authentication cookie.
2. Preference cookie
A small preference cookie, such as sidebar_state, may be used to remember interface settings such as whether a sidebar is open or closed.
3. Payments
If you choose to start a payment, Stripe's hosted checkout may use cookies or similar technologies to provide and secure the checkout experience. Those technologies are controlled by Stripe on its hosted pages.
4. Analytics and advertising
Local Initiative does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies in the app.
5. Managing cookies and browser storage
You can manage cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential browser storage may prevent account, sign-in or checkout journeys from working correctly.
